Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired a high-level PRAGATI meeting today, reviewing critical infrastructure projects worth over ₹62,000 crore across the sectors of road transport, power, and water resources. Reaffirming his push for Pro-Active Governance and Timely Implementation, the PM highlighted the need to fast-track these projects to avoid cost overruns and ensure citizens benefit from timely services. Stressing on efficiency and accountability, he urged stakeholders to address bottlenecks swiftly. Reviewing progress under the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA), the PM called on States to strictly enforce registration of all eligible real estate projects and ensure prompt, fair grievance redressal for homebuyers. He also discussed best practices in India’s growing semiconductor ecosystem, encouraging broader replication to strengthen the National Semiconductor Mission. So far, PRAGATI has reviewed 373 projects worth over ₹20.64 lakh crore, underscoring the government’s commitment to development with speed and transparency.
